Eyebrows tightened and frowning deeply, seeing that frigglish is starting to rise— with blood pouring from the felines eyes like a flood, her maw hanging dangerously open bruised and broken. Infections spring up quick in animals, you take a step back. You load the gun and aim it at the advancing bleeding feline.

Roxy move.

Roxy did as she was told for once, covering her mouth and making quiet squeaking sounds, she scooted back, finding no confidence in getting to her feet. “C-Can’t you just let him run off?” Her eyes stay firmly on Frigglish, never bothering to look away from the monster she’s loved for so long.

She finally pulled herself to her feet, wiping at her cheek with her sleeve and took a few steps behind Dirk, biting her lip and clenching her hands into fists, her nails digging into the skin enough to tear.

Roxy crouched over Frigglish and wiped the foam from his mouth, frowning and feeling the tears prick at her eyes. “I-I…you’ll be okay…” She scratched his ears and smiled a desperately, he’d come through. She just had to stay with him. Maybe the bite didn’t pierce his skin…maybe it was just shock…

She hears a sound over her shoulder and turns helplessly, relaxing slightly at the sight of the…glowing boy. She turned back to Frigglish and played off the shock, she’d seen worse. She had a cat with two sets of eyes after all.

“He’s gonna be okay.” There was panic in her voice. “Right?”

“But Frigglish!” Roxy turned immediately, eyes wide with panic. “Erhm…” She grabbed him by the scruff and hauled him to the tree, looking back at the bushes as the groaning becomes louder, she shrieks as one of the undead moves with surprising speed, latching what was left of its jaw onto his flank.

She let go immediately her fist connecting with the creatues skull with a resounding crack, making her knuckles hurt. It fell back, back into the bushes. “OMFG.” Frigglish crumbled under his own weight, falling to the ground with a yowl.

This was the worst idea, it had not been worth it, trapped in the stinky, stuffy ass truck for hours with that damn cat. The cat that didn’t shut up, the endless sound of static pouring from the mouth of the radio on the console driving her insane. She’d gotten to the point where she’d almost shot it, but she took out her aggravation by blindly running over bodies and listening to the satisfying crunch and gush.

And finally. Finally. She made it, it’d been slightly hard to find but she was there, duffel bag on her should, gun in hand, under the canopy of the weird ass shelter Dirk had built for himself just around Houston.

“YO DIRK!?” Roxy hadn’t got a fear of shouting, having hopefully secured the area and with Frigglish bristling at her side.
